As a homeowner, having an in-home or whole-home water purification system can take some maintenance and repair on your end. For example, if you have a water softener you may have to replace the salt. If you have a RO system, the filter may need to be replaced after some time, and a UV system may need the bulbs changed every year or so.
The good news is that Aquasani has built-in maintenance plans for when you decide to have a water purification system installed. Not only do we offer great deals (BOGO and Refer A Friend), but we take the guesswork out of keeping your system up to date. The only thing left to do is figure out which system is right for you!
Which Water Purification System is Right for You?
UV Water Purification System
A UV system is great for those living outside Springfield or Lake of the Ozarks and is on well water. A UV purification system kills bacteria, germs, and any other microscopic critter in your water that you don’t necessarily want to digest.
A UV system is recommended for those on well water because flooding and other natural occurrences in nature can leak bacteria, germs, and water-borne illnesses into the well water. Couple this with a RO system and you are good to go!
Reverse Osmosis or RO Water Purification System
A RO water system is great for those who are either on well water or living within city limits who want chloride, lead, and other parasites removed from your tap water. For those conscientious about their carbon footprint, RO water purification systems not only eliminate your need to drink bottled water, but they cost pennies on the dollar for cleaner drinking water.
Water Softening System
A water softening system (either whole-home or isolated) is great for those who want to extend the length of their appliances while using less soap, shampoo, and detergents. Living in the Ozarks means we automatically have a lot of limescale in our water supply. This limescale appears in the form of white residue left on our faucets, shower fixtures, and even as water spots on our dishes. Limescale can do a number on your skin and hair too. A water softening system removes limescale from your water supply further extending the life of your appliances and fixtures while reducing the amount of soap, shampoos, conditioners, and detergents you use!
In summary, regardless of what unit(s) you want to install, there will always be maintenance needed in order to ensure your water purification system is performing optimally. Luckily at Aquasani – based in SW Missouri, Mid-Missouri, and NW Arkansas – we have built-in maintenance plans that take the guesswork out of how and when to give your unit some TLC.
Using our automated system, we call you to let you know when your water system needs maintenance and schedule a tech to come out and service that system at a time that suits you.
